Re: Spoiler Tags

Just making sure that since:
Spoiler
phpBB has been updated to 3.0.8, including language packs.
spoilers still work.
{spoiler}I'm sure Mac_Fife would have caught it if they didn't.[/spoiler]

Ohh, another caveat? Only one spoiler per message?

Re: Flaming

The issue I have with this perspective is that it makes the 'correctness' of wide-spread ignorance more authoritative than 'correctness' by design or definition. See the recent 'debate' concerning hacker v. cracker on the MOUL forums. There are entire social philosophies built on this premise of the...

Re: Improve Uru Cost/Performance Using UDP Network Architecture

Apologies for the double post... One example... A TCP Packet is somewhat bigger than UDP. Two avatars standing next to each other in realtime. Avatar 1 pulls a lever to activate a game sctipt. The activation script requires a server call to acknowledge a change in the environment. Yet over to avatar...

Re: The Cost of Running SL

Re: Spambot Email Domains May Be Banned

Hrmm.. I had forgotten about that little hiccup. whistles innocently. Definitely an issue that should be looked into. Have a relatively simple idea; it just has a little issue. Goes back to pretending to think.

Re: Building & Testing Forum

At the least; there should probably be sub-forums for *nix server, windows server, and windows client. Perhaps even a *nix client sometime in the future. Then each of these could perhaps have a stickied thread with a list of known dependencies and working/non-working tool-sets. That last may be bett...
