Re: Should a future MOULa client be H-uru-based?

I'm largely parroting what's been said else where, but another voice of consent can only help. I’d get behind building future clients from H-uru, just for the build being generally easier to deal with. I’ve been hacking out PhysX for Bullet, and initially after several hours of attempting to do thin...

Re: Future MOULa updates

Releasing code from this project, as close to cyans base line would mitigate the multiple build senario cutting down on cost (the donation fund). Unless I'm missing the point of your post altogether, what I think you're suggesting here is pretty much what already happens. ... In any case, the most ...

Re: Work Flow Management

I just noticed this set of release notes for the next version of JIRA (4.4) which looks to be near release. Scroll down, there now is a graphical/visual presentation of a project's workflow. It looks like we could leverage that (if we keep it simple) to present the flow to a general audience. _R It...

Re: Incompatibility of OpenUru.org and H-uru CWE repositorie

My suggestions for contributing to the OpenURU repository, as suggested by Nye... My first suggestion is not a suggestion--it's a requirement. I won't work with people who have a history of hijacking forum accounts and especially not when they openly admit they have many aliases and only use one un...

Re: Work Flow Management

You are in the right area; you don’t need to understand the whole diagram and you are correct in that it’s a means to an end. Process diagrams, in this case DFD’s show, to the best of the writers knowledge, what needs to happen to achieve something. For example, you can say “I boil a kettle to make ...

Re: Incompatibility of OpenUru.org and H-uru CWE repositorie

I suspect that topic is nearly ready to make an appearance It was started a while back http://forums.openuru.org/viewtopic.php?f=91&t=565 I'll make more of an effort to get this moving if needed - see the last post on that thread by me, I have a short time between now and when I need to move on to ...

Re: Work Flow Management

I have to say the same as well - just reminding myself of whats is what. Looking forward to seeing your diagrams EDIT: Mac, sorry my R/L has just taken another unexpected turn :( Basically an old employer, no longer have the expertise in-house to manage a part of a project that they were dealing wit...

Re: MOSS : Can It Cluster?

Hi MustardJeep The spirt of openUru is to discuss projects, changes, and ideas in an open environment- taking your discussion with a'moca' to PM at this stage could leave people who may wish to participate and/or just understand the changes that you plan to make, un-informed. I can understand if the ...

Re: Work Flow Management

"Foundry" is a term with too broad a scope to use in these diagrams: The Foundry includes the Atlassian tools (JIRA, Fisheye, Crucible), the repos and the Jenkins build engine. Basically where you're headed is to keep all the development communication within the tools that comprise the "Foundry" su...
