Re: Feature Request: Dice Roller
You're welcome! It was an easy request to fill. I'm open to expanding it if necessary, as right now it's fairly simple, but hopefully it's sufficient to cover general use and get your IC Unwritten games started.

Re: Feature Request: Dice Roller
The code has been merged and will be available for use in the next release of Gehn! After initially following your specifications, we decided to align more closely with the typical command in many other games, using /roll as the main command instead of /dice and /fate. It reads a little more natura...

Re: Feature Request: Dice Roller
Great idea! Done.
The code will be reviewed soon and hopefully incorporated quickly, as this was a small feature. Thanks for the suggestion.

Re: Minkata-alpha is up for general use
as you can see, people often do not grasp the concept of a shard not being a 'playing' shard: they go around collecting sparklies and Yeesha pages as if they were building something permanent and get upset when they're not. Or reporting bugs that aren't even the focus of a specific test, as seen wi...

Re: RAD Game Tools License Concern - Immediate Action Requir
Hi Adam, You are where I was this morning, until I got a further explanation. What I did not realize was whoever at Cyan wrote plLayerBink.cpp had copied the code nearly verbatim from the RAD Tools SDK sample code. And that is what is in violation of Cyan's agreement with RAD Tools. Which carries *...

Re: Content Licensing
Good news, everyone! I've been asked to pass along some info from Cyan regarding the progress on licensing. It's light on details, with one exception: there was a question regarding the Peter Gabriel song used for Zandi's radio; as one might expect, the chain of rights is complicated and Cyan wasn't...

Re: Future MOULa updates
What JW said.
In addition, Cyan uses a different build system and code set-up in some small but non-trivial places, without which it would be impossible to remove the need for all QA, and would leave them still doing these final checks and deployment/integration testing.

Re: Content Licensing - Register of licensees
So from here, where should further discussion go? Right now we're just talking about a problem rather than trying to correct it (Which is basically what's been going on for months now.). :) I say we begin drafting a test license and see where that leads us. There's no reason not to give it a try; t...

Re: Content Licensing
That sounds about right, from first hand experience.
Don't have that hand anymore.
