Re: Where is the OU source located these days?

Ah. I see now. I was not aware that the latest build on MOULa was simply a test of a OU built client.
I apologize for wasting your time.

Re: Where is the OU source located these days?

I just looked at CWE-ou and it does have the public source used at MOULa right now. Jenkins shows https://foundry.openuru.org/hg/CWE-ou to be the source for build 1.918.OpenUru#131, which is what is running there right now. It includes a merge done 2014-01-02 by C. Walther for Cyan's internally pro...

Re: Where is the OU source located these days?

Rarified will weigh in on your issue, I'm sure. We also have the repos on BitBucket which Foundry mirrors. https://bitbucket.org/OpenUru_org/cwe-ou https://bitbucket.org/OpenUru_org/moulscript-ou Perhaps I am simply looking in the wrong place? I look at https://bitbucket.org/OpenUru_org/moulscript-...

Where is the OU source located these days?

Where can one get the source for the current CWE-ou and MOULSCRIPT-ou? It appears that the mercurial repositories on OU do not contain the latest code (or I am overlooking it). II am seeing that the last commit on CWE-ou seems to be Jan 2014, and the MOULSCRIPT-ou is July 2013. I apologize if there ...

Re: UTF8 error when setting up database

Just swinging by and I have a small bit of time for comment and some hopefully useful information. Windows and a GUI would not make any difference to this problem. The issue is that it is an unmaintained project. Windows has lots of similar problems with unmaintained software - for example: old stuf...

Re: Content Licensing

Wow! Someone tries to do something to help the community by putting in a lot of time and effort (and probably spending some of his political capital as a revenue generating partner of Cyan's) and appears to actually be able to get the results that people want, and gets as thanks a nice pile of nasty...

Re: Improving Instructions

To summarize, MOSS is an open-source Uru server created by a'moaca' and cjkelly1 through reverse-engineering. May want to clarify the "reverse-engineering" part, because it is important, in my opinion. MOSS was created by observing the network traffic between the client and Cyan's servers. We did n...

Re: LiveBahroCaves_District_POTScave.prp is Alway Delet[Solv

The Manifests.zip file that is in the MOSS tree contains files which generate manifests which have the same entries as were in the GT MOUL. I do not believe the files in the manifests changed from the GT version to MOULa. The only manifest which MOSS does not contain is macExternal, because I do not...

Re: GoW client with MOSS

From a quick look at the code, the “mumble to itself” message indicates that the file SDL.mbam was not found (weird error message – funny but unhelpful :?), did you place it in the correct auth subdirectory ( default or whatever you configured for the logging-in user)? Funny and very helpful in the...
