Re: Content Licensing - Non-commercial use
So much to discuss, and I've been busy the last two days converting PotS Ages to MOULa instead of writing and responding... Wording for MORE was to limit content to Plasma, now CWE, and I don't think the intent has changed. "MOUL" might be a misnomer. Not to say derivative use of CWE imagery (e.g., ...

Re: Content Licensing
OK, that's a long(ish) post, and I'm thinking that it may be better to have a separate thread for each point - it'd probably make it easier to respond to. I'm also in bed with a cold right now (no idea where that suddenly came from :?), so I'll only respond to a couple of those right now... Heh, so...

Re: Content Licensing
Thanks Mac. I appreciate your directness. I'm no longer expecting anyone to belive me but, but what we have from Cyan is what is in my June 3 post and is essentially the same as I presented at the AGM. There is no more than that. What was sent back to Cyan in response are the questions and comments ...

Re: Content Licensing
Steam has a new thing with their Machinima Tool, which is now being given away free. BUT... they too want to reserve rights on their content. You may find it intersting to review what they have done and point Cyan in that direction for ideas. People are often more comfortable when they can see how ...

Re: Content Licensing
That's all quite good, in a general sense. Sadly that's all that it is, because it's all we've been given.
If I may be blunt: is there any reason why the two of you cannot share the actual documents you've prepared to share with Cyan on our behalf?

Re: Content Licensing
Sounds good. Thanks a bunch for the update!
What exactly do you mean by a "license template"?
Thanks for keeping this going, JW and Mac.

Re: Hello (again)
I went into Firefox's cookies and individually nuked each and every cookie from the GoW. I can log in now! Most likely it was an issue with the old cookies conflicting with the new cookies. Thanks! Glad to be of help. Usually stale cookies are the first thing to try when log-ins fail. The web can b...

Is this you? http://forum.guildofwriters.org/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=4976 I don't see why you'd be unable to log in, but things have been rearranged a bit in the last year or so. Perhaps try going to http://forum.guildofwriters.org and log in directly from there? Maybe you've got a latent ...
