Maybe see if there's anything related to having caused the Descent issue?

Re: Wiki Usernames & Failed Logins

The code was okay. It was a missing new config setting. The newest version of Auth_phpBB uses uses the lcase() version of the phpBB username (users.username_clean) by default instead of the "Canonical Case" (how phpBB actually displays it) when there is no config setting. phpBB has case-insensitive ...

Re: Wiki Usernames & Failed Logins

Okay, thanks. That suggests that the username used to compare and then create the wiki account is one from a normalized compare of lowercase versions from lookup results between phpBB and Mediawiki, with the standard capitalized wiki username applied. It should instead use the capitalized version of...

Re: Wiki Usernames & Failed Logins

You created a new account by typing "Christian walther" instead of "Christian Walther". And that might be a bug in our wiki/phpBB integration code that I need to look into. Wiki User List: Christian Walther (talk | contribs | block) (Created on 3 February 2012 at 07:23) Christian walther (talk | con...

Re: Wiki Usernames & Failed Logins

I found an active Auth_phpBB fork on GitHub which accommodates changes in phpBB 3.1 and 3.2. I forked that and have ported the changes we implemented here for a few improvements and mainly to use a Custom Profile username translation between phpBB and the more restrictive MediaWiki usernames. I'll b...

Re: Forum Updates

Yes, could be better. Is it much worse than it was? I was also less than impressed, thinking "I need to get to that." CSS is dirty work, so it's the last thing I get to. I'd rather chop wood in a blizzard.

Thanks for the wallpaper. I thought I had accidentally zoomed my browser 1500%.

Re: Wiki Usernames & Failed Logins

An issue has developed with wiki authentication using forum credentials. The interface has been disabled for now and the wiki is using it's own database for logons. As a consequence, you might find that you will need to enter a very old password because the wiki has reverted to using passwords prior...

Re: Shut Down Mantis?

In the ever-inexplicable world of product development and the Mantis saga, Mantis has rudely removed support for headers and footers from their new major version release of 2.0 and now 2.1, which actually has a nicer UI. That means I can't upgrade and retain our site navigation on the Mantis pages. ...

Re: Adding Fan Content to Minkata -- A Planning Thread

I'd rather include a license in my age than get emails from each person or shard wanting to use it. And I'd rather it be clear what I'm willing to share if I disappear off the face of the Earth, as content and code developers seem to occasionally do. Is it really that freaking hard to slip in a lice...
