Re: Content Licensing
I like this new revision very much. I am not much of an editor, so I'll pass on that. I trust that you guys will be able to work out those issues. I am very glad that we have JWPlatt on board since he has experience in communicating in a way that the business parts of Cyan will enjoy. What I can do ...

Re: Content Licensing
First glance read looks good, but I'm a bit rushed right now. When I get back to the remote battle station, I'll elaborate on the stairs and my other thoughts

Re: Bitesize contributions
They exist much like forward declarations in C. plPythonPack, the program that produces Python.pak, does not actually load the the game python libraries, rather, it relies on the declarations in these files to be able to produce compiled python bytecode.

Re: Content Licensing
Some time has (finally) cropped up for me to read the changes that have been made. I think the new language added (yay for diff mode) enhances the proposal nicely and adequately conveys that this would (ideally) be a first step in opening up the content. You've got my approval.

Re: Content Licensing
I think I would agree with Mac on this point, even without the example he gives. If I'm Cyan (Disclaimer: I am obviously not Cyan.), and I'm reading a proposal that talks about the work I do for product I'm not selling benefiting me, I would either be greatly amused or marvel at how stupid the idea ...

Re: Content Licensing
Mac and I were talking about your post just yesterday, Deledrius. (...) You didn't get to hear our conversation, unfortunately, but it's been on our minds. I was going to write a big, long post here, but, instead, I think I'll let you figure out why this statement would annoy people. I'll think I'l...

Re: Bitbucket Pull Requests Merged?
You do all of your work in a branch, which then gets integrated into the master/head/default branch of the upstream repository. You should probably leave the master/head/default branch as a clean representation of the upstream to facilitate diversion on your end. I know on git, it can get very compl...

Re: Bitbucket Pull Requests Merged?
I'm not sure what that big fat button is supposed to do, but your second guess sounds like a better bet to me. In fact, now that I look at it, that is pretty much what you want to do--though I would recommend creating a named branch (these are technically in mercurial, but they make life easier on b...

This post is sufficiently vague that I honestly don't know what the problem is
