Jalak Sculpture Contest and Conehenge Contest on Minkata

Post by Christian Walther »

As Tai'lahr mentioned, as a way of having some fun and getting some physics aspects thoroughly exercised as a side effect, we’ve been planning some contests. Here’s the deal:

Jalak Sculpture Contest: Alone or in a team, build something amazing using the columns and blocks in your Jalak!

Conehenge Contest: Arrange the cones, firemarbles, and/or beachball in your neighborhood in a novel formation!

In both disciplines, you have time until the gathering of October 27th. At that time, we will do a tour of your creations with the whole group, and everyone can vote for their favorites. Winners in both categories will receive a surprise to show off on their hood or Relto imagers!

Participants can announce their entries here, but that is not required, you can also just mention it at the event. If you would like to enter, but are unable to attend the event, contact us so we can work something out. Conehenge entrants may want to keep their hood private until the judging tour to reduce the risk of having it messed up before.

IMHO, I have to say no (please!) Let's keep the contest focused on the task at hand: seeing what can be done with the updated Physics implementation.

Thanks.

Heh, just FYI, the pumpkins are labeled Thanksgiving, not Halloween, but we have them, now! Thanks Rarified! :D

I know sign ups aren't required for this, but I expected someone might post their intentions... I sure hope others are planning to participate; I would hate to win by default for my entry which I've titled, "Pristine." ;)

Yay Mouski! Best of luck to you! :)

I just saw another preview of the award in game and I'm planning to win that bad boy for my hood imager. :D
Hope it's not by default. :(
We need more entrants for these contests. C'mon folks, the kickables are finally FUN to maneuver. Let's make some sculptures!
