I think it must be your computer, sut. Or at least, the sound seems perfectly OK on mine.

You could try renaming the Documents\Uru Live Minkata Shard\Init\audio.ini file to reset your sound settings to default and see if that helps.

AFAICT, the Gahreesen elevator doesn't rely on game mastership. It's just very, very, very, very bad python that probably has a lot of edge cases.

Thx Mac that fixed it (at least 99% ) I still have distortion in a few sounds files but at least its on my end ! I usually never have sound on ! ( I have been listening to the same music and sounds since 2003)
