Greetings and thanks!

This reminded me that I need to write some code to check the database for inconsistancies; I suspect the shaft problems are related to some bad data in the database.

Glad to hear from people, though!

Can't log in. When I do, two Uruexplorers.exe come up, on logging in, the other updating and stuck doing it.

Sounds like you have a stuck launcher hanging around. Two ways to try resolving that:
  • (Easiest) Reboot your computer and try again.
  • Non-reboot method: Start the Windows "Task Manager" (<ctrl>-<alt>-<delete> then click on "Task Manager"), select the "Processes" tab at the top, then find all the UruLauncher and UruExplorer processes (easiest if you sort on the Name column) and right click each selecting "Kill process".
See if that helps.
