11Feb2015 Shard went down?

I got a disconnect error on linking from the Hood Bookroom to the Great Zero. Treated it like a bug, tried to log back in to reproduce. Launcher hung at 'checking for patcher update'. Closed window, killed process via task manager.
That situation is reproduceable - is the shard down? Checking things on my end.

Thanks. I'm bummed because I had just completed a ticket and it is asking me to resubmit everything as if that site went down, too. But maybe I just waited too long to hit the submit button.

The ticket system is running OK - it's on a completely different server from the shard so it's highly improbable that both will go down together.
The shard could be suffering the same process stoppage as happened a few days ago.

Sorry guys. Some one was "experimenting" with a custom client and held open a network connection it should not have.
(I have an identity, please do *not* experiment on Minkata without consulting me first!)
The server has been restarted.

Thanks, Rarified. I'll go back in and see if it is a bug or if it was coincidental. I'm suspecting a coincidence.
