Minkata UPtime announcement Saturday 2017.01.07

Post by rarified »

Greetings!

At last I have been able to repair the Minkata server database corruption without wiping it's vault.

This means that the Minkata test shard is back up and running and needs your help to verify the current version of the client. This version (Minkata.88) has been waiting for just over a year to be tested and then pushed back to the CYAN MOULa shard.

As a reminder, the thread describing the changes to build 88 can be found here.

I'll make a personal announcement at AGM on Saturday 1/7.

Well there always is a gotcha.

Minkata is fine, but email sent from the sign up (and reset) pages is not working. I had to update my mail system last month to filter more spam and built the new system incorrectly. *sigh*

It may take one more day to fix. Sorry folks.

Is there anything I need to do in the signup code?

Nope, the problem was with the Email transport software.

This problem should now be fixed, let us know if there are further issues with account setup or password reset.
