What is the advantage of using Bitbucket.OpenUru.org over bitbucket.org?

None, for you. There is no advantage in equivalence other than presenting a consistent domain name.

Seems like they added the CNAME feature, then gave lots of good reasons why you might not want to use it and now have decided to discontinue it because no-one uses it. There's a surprise.
