Project Forums

Project forums are one of the resources available here at OpenURU.org. They are led, controlled, and moderated by project leaders. Their structure, visibility and access are set by administration to specifications submitted by project leaders. Administration will not otherwise interfere with project forums. Projects may be open, by request, closed, or hidden.

• Open - Use your User Control Panel's Usergroups tab to give yourself membership to an open project forum.
• Request - Use your User Control Panel's Usergroups tab to request membership in a project forum. The request is sent to project leaders who handle membership.
• Closed - Closed project groups require project leaders to give you access to their project forum. These projects may often allow you to view posts, but not post yourself unless you are a member.
• Hidden - Same as closed, but the project group is not visible and the forum itself is often hidden from public view.

There has been a slight access modification to Projects & Proposals forums.

By default, open project forums are read-only to members of OpenURU.org unless they join the project group. Project leaders can specify differently when they set up their project. They can also ask to have it changed at any time. One current exception is David's Journey which allows replies by non-members to existing threads.

If you were able to post or reply to a project forum, but now cannot, please join the project's group. If you are a project leader and would like to change visibility or access policy, please PM admin.
