Re: Where to Begin (The Game)

Lack of details and you want to give them even less details?
Who said I do? "details" means more interactive objects, more pieces which shows the history of the area. Yeesha magic didn't add much details. For example, the minkata puzzle could have been done in a much more *detailed* way which respected the nature of the world, rather than "hey, look, a portal".
I don't think that yeesha-magic and bahro-magic were the most annoying things.
Not the most, but definitely one of the most. This is what people who didn't like Uru said, and even some who did.

Mac-Fife, are you a mod here? could you take my and realXCV off-topic posts to a new thread please?

That was the problem of the pods.

Yep.

I guess it could be a lot better if we followed a set of rules. A set of rules always makes games more believable.

I agree on that. It also helps avoiding contradictions. But sets of rules should apply to the whole game instead of just one part of it.

Thanks.

BTW, here's the full thread of my ideas. They should be updated:

Again, don't expect much realism.

Also, these ideas don't touch the graphics and manu parts.
