Here's something I would like to see:
Day and night cycle for the desert. Dry one, of course.
Hey, you know what could be cool? maybe, in the day, zandi will seat at the regular place, and in the night, he will move to the fireplace near his trailer, which will now be burning! (oh... there's the relto page in it... well, I'm sure something can work out).
That's kind of it.
Anyone?

I like the idea, the Cleft at night would be impressive.

Um, relto pages are impervious to heat? Or maybe he places it carefully beside the fire. The stranger wrote: (oh... there's the relto page in it... well, I'm sure something can work out).
?
How do you plan to have him go over to the fireplace? An animation?

Others ideas:
- In the night, he sleeps and doesn't use the fireplace.
- He keeps the Relto page with him at night then he replaces it in the fireplace.

Re: Desert day and night cycle
- The Relto page doesn't have to be in the fireplace, it could be anywhere.
- Because of Zandi, the transition would be tricky. Nobody I know has made an avatar animation (although I'm sure we could). Then we'd have to think of all possible cases (should he say "good night" if you're standing next to him?). Easiest way is to just have him disappear into his Airstream. On the other hand, if we had an animation of Zandi getting inside, it is easy to time it to a precise time of day. We have the Urwin code from Neghilahn and Payiferen.

Eh, just have him fall asleep with his face in his book.
The music is reversible, but time is not.

Does he have to go asleep? I mean, he was sitting in the same chair, baking the same steak and saying the same stuff for like... 8 years. Yeah. I don't think sleeping is a problem for the guy.
Remember his old saying, that he sometimes says when you get near him?
"do you think that steak is done yet?"
So yes, zandi. It's been 8 years. I think it's well enough done.
Anyway, why sleeping? people will miss his speech for sure, and it can't be good. He can go to the fireplace, and so the speech from there. And the page? as has been suggested, it can be moved. If we start in the cleft, my suggestion is that it will e inside the relto book when you take it.

I agree on that. Long time players already know what to do in the cleft but for newcomers, the speech is a starting point for them. The stranger wrote:Anyway, why sleeping? people will miss his speech for sure, and it can't be good.

Wonder if we could get David Ogden Stiers to reprise his role and give us some more lines?Chacal wrote:(should he say "good night" if you're standing next to him?)
