CWE Testing Client
In order to facilitate testing of Ages (and, I'll be honest, for the pure fun of it), would it be possible, if such a feature does not exist yet, to implement an in-game developer console allowing you to do certain special actions, like "teleport (x, y, z)" or "load_age 'Tetsonot')" and so on ? Testers would simply invoke it with a special control combination and start typing. Of course, such a client should be separate from the main one (otherwise, hello Minkata solving).

Re: CWE Testing Client
The internal developer client already supports these features, and it is very handy for testing. It's even self-documenting!

Oh, interesting. Any way to have access to it?Deledrius wrote:The internal developer client already supports these features, and it is very handy for testing. It's even self-documenting!

To make that enigmatic response possibly a little less mysterious, non-techie individuals innocently using an apostrophe or single quote in text chat on certain shards can suddenly be confronted with a screenful of colourful text.
Re: CWE Testing Client
This is still disabled in MOULa, right?

Re: CWE Testing Client
You might want to try playing with the internal client a little bit... Then we don't have to play 1,000 questions and 1,000 stupid answers.
` opens the console
l opens the log interface
Ctrl + P toggles flymode (U for up, H for down)
Ctrl + C toggles drive mode
After you show a little effort, I'd be pleased to answer your questions.

Re: CWE Testing Client
The console is available only on Internal Clients. MOULa only distributes the external client so you don't have it there (I think all the shards currently distribute only External clients). You should compile an internal client for having it.
Re: CWE Testing Client
Folks,
I would like to request that you refrain from using internal (or other altered) clients on the Minkata shard.
While they can provide opportunities to enjoy capabilities that the normal client and MOULa do not have, the reason for the existence of the shard is for testing contributed code and content changes. As I stated in the opening announcement, the Minkata shard shouldn't be a substitute for normal gameplay (and let me amend that to "and enhanced gameplay").
If someone encounters a bug that requires it, I'll be happy to distribute an internal client as needed for debugging.
