I'd like to get my Ages put up on Mantis so people can report bugs. How do I go about that?

Thanks
Whilyam

Ametist has been adding most of the ages as projects.

I think you'll need to provide a short description of the project, along with whether
you want any special access privileges given to other users (if they're working to
fix bugs on the age).

Whilyam,

Have you been helped yet? We are organizing something to more generally help requests like yours, but in the meantime I want to make sure you get what you want on Mantis. rarified, ametist or I will help you.

Please provide:
Project Name
Description

You will also get more benefits from the tool by providing (as project manager, you can do these):
Subprojects
Categories
Versions (for roadmap use)

Whilyam,
Your ages are now added as a project. You are now a manager and can now handle it as you prefer :)
Thanks for helping us with the Mantisproject!

Yes, thank you ametist!

One question, how do I add sub-projects? I can add categories (which, for now, will do) but is there a way for me to put Ages as sub-projects under my main Age project?

Thanks
Whilyam

I havn't worked in the "manager" context yet, so I don't know if this is the view you'll see.

Do you have the option for "Manage" on the top toolbar? If so, drill down from Manage >> Manage Projects, select your top level project, and you'll have a pane (second or third down from top) with a button "Create Subproject".

Log in, click on "Manage". Your projects should be displayed. Click on a project name, and you'll be presented with subprojects, categories, and versions. Each of these has an "Add" button. Below that, you can assign various level of access to people. "Reporter" is default for all.

P.S. Oops, we might have to add new subprojects for you, but then you can link projects to them.

Yes, subprojects has a pull-down menu, but it doesn't show any choices for that menu. When I click "Add as Subproject" it says
A required parameter to this page (subproject_id) was not found.

The pull-down is blank for you. We'll need to add the subprojects for you to link to. Please specify the subprojects here and the first one who reads it will add them for you.
