Actually, that line is already there. Hmmm...

I found this about removal of the collapsible nav feature for performance reasons. As one user put it, "Wow, so communities complained about this for 4 years, and now we just kill it within the span of a day? Can I be surprised?" Another questioned the point of the "Usability Initiative" if they were just going to remove user experience (UX) features. Progress marches on.

Blech! Seems that you now need the CollapsibleVector extension to restore that functionality in MW 1.24.x

(T67444 is something else that annoys me (inconsistent indenting of the sidebar))

Never thought to look for a deleted feature restoration in an extension. Ain't open source rebellion grand?

There will be an upgrade to version 1.25.1 sometime today. The wiki will be set read-only prior to that, if it is not still in effect from the previous update, and the restriction removed after a successful upgrade.
