The guild masters handed out the agenda to those sitting in their respective sections and Jeff noted that, as always, the meeting would be chatlogged and the log sent out later in the week, as well as posted on the openuru.org forum section under announcements.
Jeff reminded the residents in attendance that the vote on the tier increase would begin today following the meeting and that the vote box would be out for one (1) full week.

ON THE AGENDA

- LAND ISSUES/POLICIES:

- ISLAND UPDATE
Jeff noted that building on the island continues and asked Dagda to speak about the puzzle rooms. Dagda reported that the Guild of Builders had a meeting about the puzzle rooms this week and that some interesting ideas came up. He stated that anyone who would like to help design/build/script the puzzle rooms would be more than welcome; they should talk to him after the meeting.
Kzru asked if we could have sign posts as he keeps getting lost. Jeff said this issue had been reported by others and the building team was considering creating some "you are here" style maps in around certain places, as well as arrows and signs.

-FINANCES
Jeff retrieved the results on the preliminary voting by the residents for the tier increase and reported that the top three choices were (in order) 4, 5, 2 (USD). Before setting up the voting block for the final round of voting, Jeff reassured the residents that the council would be willing to work with them should any hardships occur due to the increase, and asked that they contact one of the council members if that was the case. He then set up the voting block which will be available for one (1) week in the guild hall. Since the voting is anonymous, Jeff asked that the residents contact him once they'd voted so that he'd know who had and had not. The results will be announced at next week's meeting or once all the residents have voted, whichever comes first.
Ghaelen asked how much US$5 was in Lindens and various answers were volunteered. This highlighted the fact that the exchange rate fluctuates often. Nalates suggested XStreet was the best route for buying or selling lindens. ("PayPal to XStreet to SL get the most L$ for RL$") Tailahr suggested that this might be a good time for everyone to consider switching over to using the Paypal system (they can make those arrangements by contacting Dagda). Jeff said he would triple check the numbers before programming the new rates into the Apez system.
Ghaelen asked if there was a way to donate lindens if they had some extra at some point. Jeff replied that a donation system was in the works. Krell suggested a tip jar; Tailahr noted that there was always one at the end of the monthly journey, and Nalates stated that "tip jars at the end of any game/quest are rumored to do well." Jeff said that a few options were being considered - one generally available in the sim and another for people wishing to donate through Paypal on a semi-regular basis.
Svigermor said she had friends interested in renting stalls in the new mall and wanted to know if the rates had been set, yet. Jeff replied that the stalls are available now for $L200/week with a 20 prim limit, but that rate is based on the lowest possible tier increase on the residents parcels and would be adjusted depending on the final vote by the residents. Anyone wishing to rent a stall now is welcome to do so, but the rate might go down by the end of the week, and anyone who has already paid the rent will not be able to get a refund. Jeff promised to IM anyone who wished to be notified once the new rate is determined. (Jazz Porta, Astro Balut, Svigermor Dharnen all asked to be notified.) A public notice would also be posted.
Dagda thanked all the residents "for taking this matter seriously, and being so willing to stick with us through an unexpected circumstance." Tailahr said she was "very impressed with the community that we've become here." Jeff added, "Yes, my gratitude is forever in your hands for allowing this project to soar. I enjoy working with everyone on this project, even if we have our moments sometimes. If one of us were to have to leave for different things in life, it would never be the same." Krell said that "the main reason I am here and have a place is to support what you/we are doing." DeAnn and Genny said they were, too. This produced much "aww"-ing and sniffling and Dagda brought out the tissue box. ;)

-THE COVENANT
Jeff announced that the council is finally working on a covenant for the sim. (Tailahr had submitted a rough draft for him and Dagda to work on.) Nonlinear asked what a covenant means in SL and Jeff explained that it is something of a governing document: The rules, regulations, and some information on how everything operates. He said it would be passed by the council first and then put to a public vote as it not only affects residents, but also visitors to the sim. He expects to have it ready in one to two weeks. If anyone has any suggestions for items that should be included, they should contact Jeff or Dagda.

- FUN AND GADGETRY
Jeff asked Tailahr to give a report on sim events. Her report:
* The June Journey is out: go see Emmett.
* Eder D'Uru playdate: This Thursday at 4 SLT. Come join the fun! We'll be racing vehicles (Tractors!!!) in Minkata! See you there!
* The Guild of Healers are settling in nicely. Their first event, "The Silk Road Caravan" was a great success with about 25 attendees. Please drop by their parcel (NE corner) and welcome them when you get a chance. (Ktahdn thanked Tai and everyone for the welcome they'd been given and noted that the event went very well. )
* Dagda & Tailahr are working on the Great Boxbot Union First Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, June 27th, starting at Noon SLT.
* The July Journey is intended to focus on the residents, but as yet, no one has volunteered to participate. Information is available in the GoPubicity pub. If no one is interested, then the July Journey won't happen.
* And, finally, Tailahr noted that she has begun doing regular updates on Mondays, sending them out to the ED group and posting them to the OpenUru blog. JWPlatt has given us a direct link to the blog through the forum there and offered to do the same with a slurl to the Post Office. viewtopic.php?f=29&t=210

Jeff asked Eleri for an update on the contests which were announced last week. Eleri noted that the fishbowl for submitting entries will be set up soon for both the fish and clothing contests. Jeff noted that some of the fish may be placed in the mall aquarium.

- WRAP UP
Jeff gave closing remarks: "Overall, we still have a lot going for us. We're going strong, and as soon as this new pricing stuff is voted in, we'll be well off as well. Continual events keep happening, and attendance is growing, which is awesome! I'm glad to see everything continues smoothly and well. Other than that, I see nothing to worry about in our future at the current time and look forward to all the adventures we will have together. And with that, meeting adjourned!

[2009/06/14 12:05] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: We seem to be having a bit of lag in the sim today, but I think we'll survive
[2009/06/14 12:05] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: OK, lets get started
[2009/06/14 12:06] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: As always the meeting will be chatlogged and handed out upon request. It is also always available on out openuru.org forum section under announcements. As always, special thanks to Tailahr for doing this for us.
[2009/06/14 12:07] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: Just a reminder for residents who are currently in attendance. The vote upon the payment increase will be today. Please stick around for that. The vote box for that will be out for one(1) full week
[2009/06/14 12:07] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: More info shortly
[2009/06/14 12:07] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: Our first topic of the day is an island update. As always we are continuing to build the island.
[2009/06/14 12:08] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: Also, the puzzle rooms are coming soon!
[2009/06/14 12:08] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: Dagda, would you like to say a few words about those?
[2009/06/14 12:08] Dagda Sideways: sure
[2009/06/14 12:08] Dagda Sideways: hi folks ㋡
[2009/06/14 12:08] Dagda Sideways: The Guild of Builders had a meeting this past week to bounce around ideas for the puzzle rooms, and a few interesting ones came up
[2009/06/14 12:09] Dagda Sideways: Anyone who would like to help design/build/script the puzzle rooms would be more than welcome, just talk to me after the meeting.
[2009/06/14 12:10] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: Glad to see all the residents (almost) inattendance :)
[2009/06/14 12:11] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: Just to mention, as I forgot to at the beginning, Eleri is absent from today's meeting. Reason: Unknown :)
[2009/06/14 12:11] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: Any comments or concerns about the island? if not we'll move on to the next subject
[2009/06/14 12:12] Kzru Bruhl raises hand
[2009/06/14 12:12] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: Yes, Kzru?
[2009/06/14 12:12] Kzru Bruhl: could we please have sign posts:D? i keep getting lost
[2009/06/14 12:13] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: Yes, we've heard this a lot. We're thinking of putting some "you are here" style maps in around certain places, as well as arrows and signs
[2009/06/14 12:13] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: Paths sometimes change while planning, so we can sometime be hesitant to label things right away
[2009/06/14 12:13] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: Is there anything else?
[2009/06/14 12:14] Ghaelen Winnikow: The docks are very nice
[2009/06/14 12:14] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: :) Thank you
[2009/06/14 12:14] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: OK, we'll move on to land issues and policies
[2009/06/14 12:14] Nalates Urriah: The entire place is looking more complete. Looking good.
[2009/06/14 12:15] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: Of course the main talking point here today is the payment increase
[2009/06/14 12:15] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: I'll now look at the votes for the preliminary numbers
[2009/06/14 12:16] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: The top three choices are (in order) 4, 5, 2 (for numbers to raise the rent by)
[2009/06/14 12:16] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: Before voting I'd like to say one thing.
[2009/06/14 12:17] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: While it would be fine if it was voted to raise by 5, keep in mind that people had also voted for 2. If the higher numbers should win. Don't worry! We will be willing to work through any hardships with our residents that may arise due to the increase. Please contact us seperately if there is a need for this.
[2009/06/14 12:18] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: With that, I'll setup the voting block now
[2009/06/14 12:18] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: one moment

[2009/06/14 12:19] Ghaelen Winnikow: how much is $5 in Lindens, appr.?
[2009/06/14 12:19] Ghaelen Winnikow: anyone know offhand?
[2009/06/14 12:19] Wyn Low: 1250
[2009/06/14 12:19] Wyn Low: approx.
[2009/06/14 12:19] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: I'm getting closer to 1400
[2009/06/14 12:20] Wyn Low: Jeff I just got 1223
[2009/06/14 12:20] Wyn Low: Off the LindeX currency exchange.
[2009/06/14 12:20] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: looking at the buying with 5 dollars
[2009/06/14 12:20] Tailahr Winnikow: 1325
[2009/06/14 12:20] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: or when you sell 5 dollars?
[2009/06/14 12:20] Krell Kruh: depends on the rate
[2009/06/14 12:20] Nalates Urriah: If one does their Linden/RL money exchange on XStreet they can do better.
[2009/06/14 12:20] Kzru Bruhl: 1250 this end after the exchange
[2009/06/14 12:21] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: interesting
[2009/06/14 12:21] Tailahr Winnikow: So, somewhere between 1200 & 1400. ;)
[2009/06/14 12:21] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: Before I program it into the apez system (paypal users should be easy) We'll triple check our numbers
[2009/06/14 12:22] Tailahr Winnikow: This might be a good time for everyone to consider switching over to using the Paypal system.
[2009/06/14 12:22] Nalates Urriah: It changes hourly, US$ runs frim 250's to 290's on the exchange
[2009/06/14 12:22] Dagda Sideways: if any residents do want to switch to paypal, let me know and I can set you up
[2009/06/14 12:22] Nalates Urriah: PayPal to XStreet to SL get the most L$ for RL$
[2009/06/14 12:23] Krell Kruh: I agree, that is best

[2009/06/14 12:23] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: OK, the vote box is ready, it will be placed here for 1 week
[2009/06/14 12:23] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: and the results announced at next week's meeting, or sooner depending on if all residents finish voting before then
[2009/06/14 12:23] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: Please notify me by instant message if you have placed your vote

[2009/06/14 12:24] Ghaelen Winnikow: thanks for the tip Nalates

[2009/06/14 12:24] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: This is so that I will know who to chase down to vote to ensure they have their say in
[2009/06/14 12:24] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: If after 1 week a resident has neglected to vote, it is assumed they are indifferent to the change, and forfeit their vote
[2009/06/14 12:25] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: I'll repeat once again. If hardships will arrise from one of the higher rate increases. Contact us, please! We're here to work with you, not against you.

[2009/06/14 12:25] Svigermor Dharnen: raises hands
[2009/06/14 12:26] Ghaelen Winnikow: do you have a place we can donate lindens if we have extra at some point?
[2009/06/14 12:26] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: please hold your questions for a moment as I tidy my instant message window :)
[2009/06/14 12:26] Tailahr Winnikow: It's in progress, Ghaelen.
[2009/06/14 12:26] Ghaelen Winnikow: thank you
[2009/06/14 12:26] Krell Kruh: tip jar would be good like Eder Gira
[2009/06/14 12:27] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: We are indeed working on a donation system
[2009/06/14 12:27] Tailahr Winnikow: There's always a tip jar at the end of the journey.
[2009/06/14 12:27] Tailahr Winnikow: And that goes towards the sim.
[2009/06/14 12:27] Nalates Urriah: Tip jars at the end of any game/quest are rumored to do well.

[2009/06/14 12:27] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: we're currently looking at providing a few options. One that is generally available in the sim, and another option for people wishing to donate through paypal on a semi-regular basis
[2009/06/14 12:27] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: more details on this in the coming weeks
[2009/06/14 12:28] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: Ok, moving on to the next topic
[2009/06/14 12:28] Dagda Sideways: svig had a questions, jeff
[2009/06/14 12:28] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: Oh, sorry
[2009/06/14 12:28] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: Yes, Svig?
[2009/06/14 12:29] Svigermor Dharnen: We have invitet Jazz to see tha stalls any prize out for rent yet caurse i have a friend more there would like to rent
[2009/06/14 12:30] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: We will be adjusting prices as we watch the results come in from the vote
[2009/06/14 12:30] Tailahr Winnikow: So, the stall rates should be set by the end of the week?
[2009/06/14 12:30] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: The stalls are available as of now
[2009/06/14 12:30] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: yes
[2009/06/14 12:31] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: the final prices will be set the end of this week
[2009/06/14 12:31] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: if any amount of time is paid for at what the current rate is, it is non-refundable
[2009/06/14 12:31] Nonlinear Tarantal: What is the current rate?
[2009/06/14 12:31] Svigermor Dharnen: so i can invite my friend over to look at it in the end of the week so she can see the prize
[2009/06/14 12:31] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: 200/week
[2009/06/14 12:32] Jazz Porta: For how many prims Jeffe?
[2009/06/14 12:32] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: 20 prims, up to 25 with additional cost per prim
[2009/06/14 12:32] Genny7 Markus: how does that compare to other places?
[2009/06/14 12:32] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: the current price is set for lowest increase in resident parcels
[2009/06/14 12:32] Tailahr Winnikow: To clarify: the stalls are available for rent right now, but the rate might go down by the end of the week, and anyone who has already paid the rent can't get a refund.
[2009/06/14 12:32] Astro Balut: Up to 20 times
[2009/06/14 12:32] Jazz Porta: 200L$ for 25 prims?
[2009/06/14 12:32] Astro Balut: Age & Hotel = 50 L for 50 prims
[2009/06/14 12:33] Nalates Urriah: A&C is unusal
[2009/06/14 12:33] Astro Balut: But I do understand the situation here
[2009/06/14 12:33] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: 225 for 25 prims at the current rate, but it is likely to go down as the pricing is set at a rate to support us
[2009/06/14 12:33] Nalates Urriah: Most places are around L250 for 25 prim It runs from 5L to 15L per prim depending
[2009/06/14 12:33] Krell Kruh: based upon some average of ocupancy I would guess
[2009/06/14 12:33] Ishtar Roussel: yes A&C is not representative of going rates
[2009/06/14 12:33] Kzru Bruhl: slsa its 15l$ a prim in alot of places so above avg but below the higest i know
[2009/06/14 12:33] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: Yes, thank you Nalates :)
[2009/06/14 12:34] Tailahr Winnikow: Jeff has numbers and is considering them all.
[2009/06/14 12:34] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: We were prepared for the lowest increase in resident costs
[2009/06/14 12:34] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: which is what those prices are adjusted to
[2009/06/14 12:34] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: (aka 1 USD raise overall)
[2009/06/14 12:34] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: seeing as 1 was not even voted for once in the preliminaries and isn't even in this vote, the mall rate is definately going to go down
[2009/06/14 12:35] Tailahr Winnikow: (so rent at your own risk) ;p
[2009/06/14 12:35] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: right :)
[2009/06/14 12:35] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: When the final prices are set, I'll be sure to notify anyone who notifies me they want to be notified
[2009/06/14 12:35] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: if that makes sense :D

[2009/06/14 12:36] Jazz Porta untangles that sentence and says 'yes please'
[2009/06/14 12:36] Astro Balut: /raises notification flag
[2009/06/14 12:36] Svigermor Dharnen: yes plz
[2009/06/14 12:36] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: OK, got you all
[2009/06/14 12:37] Kzru Bruhl: send the notice of noticication out in a nitice?
[2009/06/14 12:37] Tailahr Winnikow: Yes, of course, that too.
[2009/06/14 12:37] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: Indeed, I am going to :)
[2009/06/14 12:37] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: These are jsut for specific notifications
[2009/06/14 12:37] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: When you're notified I'll also be around to answer questions at that time, whereas when I send a notice I may not be :)
[2009/06/14 12:38] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: Any other comments or concerns about the payment increase?
[2009/06/14 12:38] Dagda Sideways: can I say one thing?
[2009/06/14 12:38] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: Sure
[2009/06/14 12:38] Dagda Sideways: I just want to thank all the residents for taking this matter seriously, and being so willing to stick with us through an unexpected circumstance.
[2009/06/14 12:39] Dagda Sideways: that's it ㋡
[2009/06/14 12:39] Tailahr Winnikow: I'm very impressed with the community that we've become here.
[2009/06/14 12:39] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: :D Excellent choice of what to say
[2009/06/14 12:40] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: Yes, my gratitude is forever in your hands for allowing this project to soar. I enjoy working with everyone on this project, even if we have our moments sometimes. If one of us were to have to leave for different things in life, it would never be the same
[2009/06/14 12:40] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: That goes for all the residents as well

[2009/06/14 12:41] Krell Kruh: The main reason I am here and have a place is to support what you/we are doing.
[2009/06/14 12:41] DeAnn Dufaux: me too
[2009/06/14 12:41] Astro Balut: If this wasn't such a nice community a TRUCK would be in place
[2009/06/14 12:41] Genny7 Markus: me too

[2009/06/14 12:43] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: Next on the agenda is the mentioning of our covenant.
[2009/06/14 12:43] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: We are working on one now! Yay!
[2009/06/14 12:44] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: Tai finally decided me and Dagda weren't working on it in our little padded room so she wrote us a rough draft and that was the kick start me and Dagda really needed
[2009/06/14 12:44] Wyn Low: One padded room to contain Jeff and Dagda?
[2009/06/14 12:44] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: Yeah, we didn't have the prims for two!
[2009/06/14 12:45] Ktahdn Vesuvino: So long as they remain 5 feet apart, the mix shouldn't go supercritical. <G>
[2009/06/14 12:45] Nonlinear Tarantal: So, what's a covenant, in sl?
[2009/06/14 12:45] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: Basically, this covenant will, at it's core, be our sort of governing document
[2009/06/14 12:45] Eleri Ethaniel: Shorah all, sorry I'm late. Was stuck working
[2009/06/14 12:45] Tailahr Winnikow: Rules and guildlines.
[2009/06/14 12:45] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: The rules, regulations, and some information on how everything operates
[2009/06/14 12:46] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: It will of course be passed by the council for ratification into exsistence
[2009/06/14 12:46] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: it will also be our first public vote
[2009/06/14 12:46] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: As it effects not only residents, but also visitors to the sim
[2009/06/14 12:47] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: So we'll be seeing that, if not next week, the week after that
[2009/06/14 12:47] Dagda Sideways: (I'm pushing for next week :P)
[2009/06/14 12:47] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: hehe, yes
[2009/06/14 12:47] Tailahr Winnikow: And, to think, we've only been here for six months. ;)
[2009/06/14 12:48] Ghaelen Winnikow: oh I didn't know that
[2009/06/14 12:48] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: Yeah, living under complete chaos without rules for 6 months :D
[2009/06/14 12:48] Ktahdn Vesuvino: Doesn't take long for bureaucracy to take root... <G>
[2009/06/14 12:48] Astro Balut: 6 months already!
[2009/06/14 12:48] Wyn Low: Sounds like the NYS legislature.
[2009/06/14 12:49] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: Indeed, our record is good. We haven't destroyed a single sim in our trail of growth and movement across SL !
[2009/06/14 12:49] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: No blackholes of brothels and billboards have followed us
[2009/06/14 12:51] Ruby Glenfadden: ok, its kind of interesting to see what you've done here. Surely its not the second life I once saw many eons ago. You've really only been here 6 months?
[2009/06/14 12:51] Ktahdn Vesuvino: *raises hand
[2009/06/14 12:52] Eleri Ethaniel: "Play Nice With Others" is a good rule in general. Don't need too much more than that :)
[2009/06/14 12:53] Tailahr Winnikow: Yes, but some people like to know what the accepted behaviour is.
[2009/06/14 12:53] Tailahr Winnikow: It addressses things like role-playing or not; building restrictions, etc.
[2009/06/14 12:54] Nalates Urriah: Behavior is pretty broad when Krell can turn into a large or tiny dragon at any moment
[2009/06/14 12:54] Wyn Low: Whether things can go esplode-y or not?
[2009/06/14 12:54] Tailahr Winnikow: Yeah, that, too.
[2009/06/14 12:54] Eleri Ethaniel: Krell's rule is No Eating your Neighbors :)
[2009/06/14 12:54] Krell Kruh: I can live with that
[2009/06/14 12:54] Genny7 Markus: thank goodness for that
[2009/06/14 12:54] Ktahdn Vesuvino: The neighbors' rule is "Make sure Krell is fed."
[2009/06/14 12:54] Krell Kruh: get enough to eat on the mainland
[2009/06/14 12:54] Wyn Low: Never bother dragons: for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.
[2009/06/14 12:55] Kzru Bruhl: so rampaging arund as a cylon with a pocket newk a no no then?

[2009/06/14 12:55] Ishtar Roussel: yes, the changes to script limits will need to be adressed in your covenant when they come out too
[2009/06/14 12:56] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: Did anyone have anything else about covenant or land issues/policies?
[2009/06/14 12:56] Dagda Sideways: ishtar mentioned something about script limits?
[2009/06/14 12:57] Kzru Bruhl: whats the script limit?
[2009/06/14 12:57] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: In the mall?
[2009/06/14 12:57] Astro Balut: There are 3 scripts in each vendor
[2009/06/14 12:57] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: Really, if it's laggin' we'll find out why and tell you
[2009/06/14 12:57] Ishtar Roussel: oh was just saying, thought we were listing things that normally go in covenants is all...
[2009/06/14 12:57] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: we can't just count the number of scripts and say no more than this
[2009/06/14 12:57] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: because some scripts are extremely basic
[2009/06/14 12:57] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: and really won't lag us
[2009/06/14 12:57] Tailahr Winnikow: Jeff, Maybe they could contact you or Dagda with suggestions for consideration?
[2009/06/14 12:57] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: It's encouraged to use mono
[2009/06/14 12:58] Astro Balut: hippo VEND uses Mono
[2009/06/14 12:58] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: but yes, if there's suggestions that you want us to hear about the mall, definately contact us seperately
[2009/06/14 12:58] Kzru Bruhl: there now a way to find out what scripts are lagging how nuch server space there using and so on
[2009/06/14 12:58] Nonlinear Tarantal: Any need for a script review before letting it loose?
[2009/06/14 12:58] Nalates Urriah: Plus Lindens will be placing a limit and cost on scripts probably this year.
[2009/06/14 12:58] Tailahr Winnikow: The mall and the covenant: send suggestions to Jeff or Dagda.
[2009/06/14 12:58] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: No non, just let it loose
[2009/06/14 12:58] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: and if we're consistetly laggy, I usually find the root of the cause

[2009/06/14 12:59] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: OK, lets move on to the events
[2009/06/14 12:59] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: Tai, would you like to cover these this week?
[2009/06/14 12:59] Tailahr Winnikow: Okee
[2009/06/14 13:00] Tailahr Winnikow: Fun and Gadgetry

[2009/06/14 13:00] Tailahr Winnikow: The Guild of Healers are settling in nicely. Their first event, "The Silk Road Caravan" was a great success with about 25 attendees. Please drop by their parcel (NE corner) and welcome them when you get a chance.
[2009/06/14 13:01] Tailahr Winnikow: Dagda & I are working on the Great Boxbot Union First Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, June 27th, starting at Noon SLT.
[2009/06/14 13:01] Ktahdn Vesuvino: *raises hand
[2009/06/14 13:01] Tailahr Winnikow: Yes, KT?
[2009/06/14 13:01] Ktahdn Vesuvino: I just wanted to say, on behalf of the Guild of Healers.

[2009/06/14 13:01] Ktahdn Vesuvino: The event went very well, and thespace was lovely. Completely with a map!
[2009/06/14 13:01] Ktahdn Vesuvino: So, thank you.
[2009/06/14 13:02] Ghaelen Winnikow seconds that thanks
[2009/06/14 13:02] Tailahr Winnikow: Well, the feeling is mutual; we're happy to have y'all here.
[2009/06/14 13:02] Tailahr Winnikow: The July Journey is intended to focus on the residents, but as yet, no one has contacted me to participate. I don't have time to contact everyone individually to ask if they want to, so they'll need to contact me. Information is available in the GoPubicity pub. If no one is interested, then the July Journey won't happen.
[2009/06/14 13:02] Tailahr Winnikow: :(
[2009/06/14 13:02] Tailahr Winnikow puts on a pouty face.
[2009/06/14 13:03] Tailahr Winnikow: And, finally, I've started to really do my job as the GM of Publicity:
[2009/06/14 13:03] Tailahr Winnikow: I have begun doing regular updates on Mondays, sending them out to the ED group and posting them to the OpenUru blog. JWPlatt has given us a direct link to the blog through the forum there and offered to do the same with a slurl to the Post Office. viewtopic.php?f=29&t=210
[2009/06/14 13:03] Tailahr Winnikow: Any questions about any of those announcements?
[2009/06/14 13:04] Tailahr Winnikow: Okee dokee. Thank you for your time.

[2009/06/14 13:04] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: Ok, and now the wrap up
[2009/06/14 13:04] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: Firstly, is there anything at all anyone would like to bring up that was unable to do so at any point during today's meeting. Now would be the time
[2009/06/14 13:04] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: Oh, Eleri is here
[2009/06/14 13:05] Nalates Urriah: When are we going to get Adeon a chair?
[2009/06/14 13:05] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: Eleri, do you have an update on the fishies contest?
[2009/06/14 13:05] Eleri Ethaniel: *chuckle*
[2009/06/14 13:05] Adeon Writer: I'm supposed to make my own Nataltes. This box is the Chair of Procrastination.
[2009/06/14 13:05] Eleri Ethaniel: The fishbowl for submitting entries will go up soon, and then we'll start colecting fishies :)
[2009/06/14 13:06] Eleri Ethaniel: same with the clothing contest.
[2009/06/14 13:07] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: awesome
[2009/06/14 13:07] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: and I think we're hoping to place some winning entries in the mall aquarium
[2009/06/14 13:07] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: OK, so the wrap up now :)
[2009/06/14 13:08] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: Overall, we still have a lot going for us. We're going strong, and as soon as this new pricing stuff is voted in, we'll be well off as well
[2009/06/14 13:08] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: Continual events keep happening, and attendance is growing, which is awesome!
[2009/06/14 13:08] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: I'm glad to see everything continues smoothly and well
[2009/06/14 13:09] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: Other than that, I see nothing to worry about in our future at the current time and look forward to all the adventures we will have together
[2009/06/14 13:09] JeffeJ5005 Lewis: And with that, meeting adjourned!
[2009/06/14 13:09] Tailahr Winnikow starts singing, "Happy Days are here again...."
