Odds and Ends Worlds

There are people experimenting and playing with Myst Style builds in various game worlds. I keep finding them and decided to start collecting them now that the Hypergrid Project is open.

gmz1023 mentioned having a FCAL for a Doom Ae'gura, which kinda blew me away. (This thread: Myst Uru Style Doom ) gmz is posting some more pictures from the odd Ae'gura. See: doomuru

While I think it would be hilarious to see folks blasting away with BFG's in the Great Plaza, I can understand how that might upset some. :D

And another one... Myst: Book of Gaia

This is an online RP rather than an in game RP.

One has to mess with it a bit to see how it works.

The D'ni Voice
Dudemom_2000 is the ...editor... author... of The D'ni Voice. Formerly this was a news paper only for the Myst-Uru fans in Second Life. She has now decided to cover the wider Myst-Uru community playing and building in various virtual worlds. The post putting forth the intension is on MOUL here: D'ni Voice

The D'ni Voice is now a blog available outside of Second Life.

Inside Second Life the Voice is published as an announcement sent to the D'ni Refugees, a Second Life group.

As far as I know there is no predominant news channel within the other SL-like grids.

DMom is now adding support for There; Vixblu/Blutec will be the reporter. She has also started a journal in Devokan Keepsafe in SL, and will be setting up an office there.

Spoton3d is another version of an OpenSim world. The emphasis is on securing individual creations, IP rights.
