CWE/MOULSCRIPT Update Locked, Cyan Notified

Post by JWPlatt »

Cyan Worlds has been notified that the next open source update is ready for consideration to be included into MOULa. These updates are currently in our CWE-ou and MOULSCRIPT-ou repositories. There may be a minor addition to Christian Walther's Relto book fix this weekend. Any new submissions will be considered for the next update. Cyan's own schedule will determine when this update can be tested by Cyan QA and built into MOULa.

It was intended to include unicode in this update. However, it proved too complicated to get it done in time. It will be in the next update.

Changes in this update:

  • From Christian Walther:
Bugfix - Relto books will open to last page viewed (previously only worked for the first two pages)
Bugfix - Fixed egg room private channel and Teledahn buckets for newer versions of Python (preventive medicine)
Bugfix - Fix a potential crash when resizing SDL tuples, if ever used (preventive medicine)
  • From Cyan, D'Lanor and Robert The Rebuilder:
Bugfix - The Minkata sparklie fix! (you can now obtain the Minkata sparklie and it appears in your Relto)
  • From D'Lanor:
Bugfix - Remove players from private egg room chat channel if they link out (fixes bug that kept others from seeing player's chat)
Feature - Unknown senders of buddy messages are added to the Recents lists (lets you easily add a new buddy after receiving a message from them)
Bugfix - Phil's Relto hut camera no longer affects others when a player disengages the bookshelf (no more Being John Malkovich!)
  • From Adam Johnson:
Bugfix - Fixed Jalak column saving/loading (save and restore your column configurations)
  • From Cyan:
Feature - A "Donate" button has been added to the game login dialog (helps CAVCON along with MOULa website changes)

Thanks to all who have developed these fixes and features and to all who tested them! More to come! Now that we have something of a workflow going, volunteers (we can always use more), and a test shard, things should start to move faster.
Perfect speed is being there.
