Re: Where to Begin (The Game)
I understand that tweek. But I think you misunderstood me. I'm against people who don't want changes because they need an IC explanations for everything. I thought you wanted a remake, did you? I want one too: several changes like no yeesha magic or strange DRC stories, yet keeping the timeline and ...

Re: Where to Begin (The Game)
It doesn't have to be "my" canon. I'm just saying things should be different and people should stop looking IC explanations for everything.

Re: Where to Begin (The Game)
I would call them continuity rules. And I would brake them :P . I just wanted to know if you consider your idea as "official" or "fictional". If you consider it "fictional" then feel free to invent anything you want. You can then blame artistic license like Cyan does with every myst game. I would c...

Re: Where to Begin (The Game)
Official rules are not yet available. But they will probably be similar to the Guidelines for Official Story/Age Creation. Your idea currently breaks rule #3. Many ideas here also break it but not as much as yours. Than don't consider my idea executable. Still, until we get a "never come up with an...

Re: Where to Begin (The Game)
Impatient players will have to be patient to watch all the video. And that's why they can choose different portions of the videos, they can choose to watch the "sharing" part, or "KI" part, or whatever. It will be esier than reading something or getting some messages. It should. Please point me to ...

Re: Where to Begin (The Game)
How do you transport all of your inventory? You pockets? it's an inventory. What's not to get? Do you keep any part of the actual cleft or the only way is through volcano and nexus? The only way to reach D'ni is tunnle/nexus. The cleft is only for the journey. Is it really necessary? Yes. Yes it is...

Re: Neighborhoods - What should we do?
Gahreesen is, right now, the only place a player can pick a KI from (don't mind the descent part, that's just my idea). Picking up a KI isn't a must, a player can explore the game without it. But I want to show the players they can't go far without it. If we take Gahreesen out of some of the 'hoods,...

Re: Neighborhoods - What should we do?
Gahreesen must be there always. If every descent has a KI dispenser, than Gahreesen is the last stop.

Re: Neighborhoods - What should we do?
What would make a 'hood better? First, random 'hood maker. Players will get a random 'hood every time they open one. Random building places, random clock place, random bridge place, random random random. They will be able to choose: the place in the D'ni they want the 'hood in (up high to near the l...
