So as the signs on the Colorado highways coming down from the mountains say
- "Truckers (testers!) you're not down yet! Ten more miles (days) of steep hills to go. Check your brakes (bugs!)"

Great work, but will we lose Wigglefly? It's such fun! I used it in Ahnonay Cathedral and it was more like swoopfly - I drifted up and down the corridor and round the room where you link in, as I gained height, until I went through the roof; and in Ercana city silo I went round in circles as I rose. I'd better make the most of it while we still have it!rarified wrote:It sounds as if Skoader has come up with some fixes for a few of the bugs reported so far. If all goes as anticipated, in the next 24-48 hours we will be able to push an updated Minkata client out to the server.

BTW, I don't know if I'd say it happened by chance, but I certainly didn't know it would happen before it did... But I think I was bound to find it because of how I jump around and mess with things, is it that weird to try stuff like that?janaba wrote:As far as I've experienced it right now it couldn't happen by chance, so, I also wonder
how that happened, Ehren
On a "test shard" such as Minkata is intended to be, not only is it "not weird" it's kinda "required". Many times, there's not a whole lot of value in testing by playing the game the way it's supposed to go and it's easy to fall into the trap of just running through the age solutions. Usually the change author will have tested the more "normal" cases pretty well before the change even gets on Minkata so there's often little to find there. It's doing the oddball things, the blind experimentation that a new player who doesn't know the solutions might try, that reveals bugs: Clicking wildly on anything and everything, trying to climb on things that look vaguely climbable, doing things in the wrong order, etc.Ehren wrote:... is it that weird to try stuff like that?
