I've been trying to log in to Minkata Alpha for the last three hours but I keep running into the same error.
After a long download I receive an error message which says:

plClient.exe - System Error
The program can't start because MSVCP100D.dll is missing from your computer.
Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.


I've tried deleting the TOS.txt and several other dat folder files but to no avail. Minkata Prime works fine.
Perhaps the Alpha server isn't ready?

This is a debug build built with MSVC 10. I believe you will need to install the redistributable package from Microsoft.

I downloaded that file. Ran it and chose the update option (the other option was uninstall).
It ran with no issue. The updater box claimed that it ran with no issue.
I closed all programs and restarted Win 7.

Same problem still when I tried to run Minkata Alpha.
I found the 64bit version of the updater you sent me and when I ran it, I received an error message that a newer version was already installed and my only option was to close.

I do have MSVC 10 Redistributable installed - both the 32 and 64 bit versions as well as a few older and newer versions.

I have been on Minkata Prime before. This problem arose after an update on January 13th.
I'll continue to try various things but if anyone has a suggestion I'm all ears.

PS: Minkata Prime still works fine

As cjkelly1 mentioned, Minkata alpha is currently hosting a debugging client. This will unfortunately only work for developers. I am sure that rarified will restore Minkata-alpha to a client that will function for everyone else when the work is complete.
