Minkata Shard Update Tuesday October 23, 2012 [Minkata.66]

Skoader has pushed a set of fixes for the new glitches to our source repository, and we've built a new client, which is designated Minkata.66.
I'm going to update the server to start pushing the new client after 6pm tonight (US/Mountain). You will get the updated client the next time you log onto Minkata after 6pm.
The server won't go down so players on the shard will continue to use the current client until they quit and restart/log in again.
I'll update the Ping! thread when the update is complete.

I successfully enjoyed 1... 1 wiggly flying just 2 minutes before the "evil" update of tonight

Not more than two minutes after the update went live, my ISP decided I don't need connectivity any more.
Minkata and the foundry will be back as soon as I can get this resolved.

Remember that with open-source, you can select what updates you want to keep and which ones you don't.

This glitch was not fixed with this update, you can still do it, even now.

Update: ISP Technician will be out by midnight. I can squeeze ping packets through the connection, but few packets larger than that.

Haha thx guys it will let me time to enjoy this feature until...
until I ask Lyrositor to built us a wigglyfly client
when the fun will end
Server crash:
I can tell, the server crashed after the update, I decided to do something else instead, I will be back tomorrow

Errr.... are you sure it's down? I just fetched a new client from Minkata and can access Jira just fine.
