Worked fine for the new avatar, though. Still, would you like that log? Would it be useful?
A helpful question to ask yourself in such cases is that of reproducibility: If you repeatedly get the problem with one avatar and never with the other, then you’re probably on to something, and a report with logs could be helpful. If you only had the problem once and never again with either avatar, then a report is less likely to be useful for debugging (it can still serve as a place to collect information in case other people ever see the same problem though). That doesn’t mean there isn’t a bug, but unreproducible bugs are generally hard to find and fix, and often not worth the effort.

Thank you, Christian. That's the kind of answer I was looking for and the reason why I posted in public instead of asking in private.

Today I've experienced something with my new janaba3 avatar which I've experienced with janaba2 as well,
but I couldn't replicate it last week and as I didn't expect it I didn't take pictures either, so I just forgot about it ... :P

Today it happened again as you will see in the pictures below ... It occurred to me when in the desert I wanted to
push the lever of the windmill, my avi turned a bit and grabbed it right in the middle and then went straight through
the mill, the lever then made a click, raised a bit and remained in that position
... To be absolutely sure that this
wasn't happenstance or sth. like that again, I've created my 5th avi, janaba4 (without KI yet), to only test this special
issue again ... I went straight to the cleft and activated the power/windmill and she did it again as described above ...

I have saved the log immediately so that you can look into this easily as you only have to look right into the end of it ...
I'll submit a ticket with that log in a few minutes ... :D ---> DONE ... :P

Please look into the sequence here from my latest new avi ...

In Eder Tsogal you still don't hear a water sound when making a standing jump while standing inside the water,
just a sound of feet jumping on any platform as before ...

That's it so far, everything else was great, which I've reported already before ... I'll go on exploring/testing later or tomorrow ... :D

All the talk about the wigglewaggleflyby has seriously hampered my ability to test seriously. Proof! :P

janaba, this may not be a new issue if it's the same as one I posted on, back in May:
Treehugger wrote:Following D'Lanor's advice I started up a new avvie and noticed an occasional mismatch between the sound effects and where I was walking or running. In the cleft I was for a while hearing wooden footsteps when running on the stone ledges. In Eder Tsogal I got the walking on gravel sound when I was in the water. Is this a new bug or just one I've not noticed before?

For me this happens always ... I wouldn't have tested this maybe if it wasn't specifically mentioned in the Wiki,
but as I have just mentioned there, all other water sounds and effects are perfectly ok ... :P

I successfully enjoyed 1... 1 wiggly flying just 2 minutes before the "evil" update of tonight   It will remind in my memories, found ones ;)
Remember that with open-source, you can select what updates you want to keep and which ones you don't. ;)
Just keep in mind that the point of the Minkata shard is to test the code that's in the client we distribute. Using any other client could invalidate that testing. If you feel the need to use an alternate client (and I can see there may be cases where it might be more productive to do so), then we'd appreciate it if you make that clear in any tickets or bug reports you make. Other shards will have their own angle on this.
Wow the thread has been really alive today... I will comment on that post posted on page 1 yesterday and my comment stands on page 4 ;) !!!

I know the stances of Openuru.org about internal client and the forbidden usage of it on this shard. Well, I didn't want to disobey that, I was more thinking of an internal client for MOULa with the wigglefly. I'm not an expert, I just thought that MOULa = Minkata but maybe I wrong and an internal client using minkata foundry wouldn't work on MOULa.

But yet... I'm still thinking I might be ok with my thoughts because I already experienced many features that you are testing nowadays on Minkata and I was experiencing them on MOULa the last month I was online there which would be July 2012 because of a mixed client compiler (I won't name him to keep it secret  ) who gave us, skydivers, 2 clients: Skydiver external client & Marker Editor internal modified client with all the newest features not tested yet ;)

Today I've completed another 'Uru Prime' journey with no problems plus Er'cana, Minkata and Ahnonay
(partially as my pellets aren't ready yet, and I needed to meet someone afterwards) with no problems either
except the desert/windmill issue, but this is just a weird behavior, it doesn't interfere with the gameplay,
you can complete the cleft and just move on ... :P

I also updated our new Wiki Minkata 66 with my test results ... I believe, the updated PhysX improvements
are great and make the 'Uru journey' much more comfortable ... Now let's see how this all behaves with many
celebrating explorers involved on Saturday ... See you all there ... :D

I've got a new avvie, Quercus, and he can confirm the desert/windmill issue, janaba.

He's half way through Gahreesen and he got into the cog easily, but he keeps being turned round when he tries to leave it. Edit - I left him to ride the cog wheel while I posted this and when I returned he jumped out nicely first time.

He's discovered one gameplay-related advantage of wiggle/wagglefly - he dropped down into the Gahreesen cleft to pick up the rocks and stones relto page and then wiggled and waggled his way out safely without having to relto out - no panic linking either.

I guess the "flying" in that case doesn't last long enough to exceed the freefall time limit that presumably triggers the panic link. In my experimentation, after using wigglefly you don't need to fall very far at all to panic link, so D'Lanor's earlier explanation of a timeout seems entirely likely.
