Failure to create workable explorer

Post by hhhenry »

It's not just the Relto door and shades. My new avatar cannot make any lasting change. If I power up Teledhan and logout, it's reset completely, undone, everything I do.
I do keep Yeesha pages, Cloth progress, book pages, books, sparks, and clothing.

This does not apply to my existing avatar.

Two steps forward, one step back. Or is it the other way around? I never can tell.

I will look at the DB tomorrow. An in place patch may not be sufficient, I may need to reinitialize it with a fresh schema and restore previous data on top of that. But I want to know what is happening first.

Thanks for sticking with me!

It's not that unworkable. You just have to be careful. Nexux links and markers are not affected. It will sometimes delete when you have not logged out. I had to open the Kadish vault once from the inside. Returning to the cleft at the end of Yeesha's journey, it was unchanged. The bridge had to fall down again and I had to power it up to finish the journey.
Lightning bugs in Relto are affected. Even though in never rains, they will not stay around after reintroduction.

I hope to have resolved this with a vault rollback. See this topic.
