Minkata Update Build #187 2020.07.02

Shorah all!

Yet another update to Minkata.

• The Client has been update to build #187. This should fix the timestamps in the chatlog.
• The assets for various parts of the game displaying text (chat, KI, etc) have been updated for high resolution displays. If you had increased the size of chat fonts for your display, you may find you need to reset them to be a reasonable size.

As always, please report bugs or anomalies on this forum topic. We're still looking for reports of any more crashes either during play or when exiting the game client.

Well, the update loaded more quickly!

I made a chat log but I don't know where to find it now I have made it And I'm not an expert in Ki font sizes etc - I hadn't noticed the previous problems.

So all I can report is that there were no crashes in today's play

Chat logs are saved under (your Documents folder)\Uru Live Minkata Shard\Log - Chat.0.log is the newest chat log, Chat.1.log is the second newest one, etc.

I tested it and chat logs have timestamps again for me.

The update check still takes longer than usual for me, at least some of the time. It still always performs two update checks (a quick one and a slow one). Right after I updated to build 187, the second update check went faster than usual (only 30 seconds or so, according to the log), but I can't reproduce this anymore - now every time I try the second check takes a minute or two again.

I haven't been affected by the chat font size problems, as I normally play on small (laptop-size) screen resolutions, so I can't really test that.

I can confirm that there is a dead Bahro in the Watcher's Pub.

I haven't been able to reproduce the crash on exit that I got on the last build, but that's probably just because I haven't tested enough - I wasn't able to reliably reproduce it on the last build either.

Something that already happened with the last build that I forgot to report: when going up the stairs in Veelay Tsavahn, I can only walk - if I try to run, I always get stuck.

my chat log does have date & timestamp in my local desktop time.

KI chat font size is much improved, thank you.

I did a logout from the new Pub and then used the Quit button.

Question: After I'm in the same age as someone, shouldn't their name appear in my KI under "Recent" ? I was in the new library with someone who linked out, but their name was not on my list.

Oh, and there is a clipping problem in the Memorial age (Veelay?) when I stand in the one pond, my legs go thru the blue lily pads.
